Sarah Bosworth is one of the leading hill climb drivers in the UK, and with her Lotus Elise, has been on the hills since 2004. Sarah is the only driver to have won both BARC hill climb championships, Gurston Down in 2009 and Harewood in 2012, 2016, 2017. She has broken many records, most recently having destroyed the 2000cc modified production record at Harewood hill climb with a time of 59.52.
Hillclimb champion Sarah will guesting a 1963 Special Saloon Ford Anglia in the weekend’s Hill climb competition. The car has a great racing history with many wins with owner Michael McErlain who is hoping that Sarah will be driving his pride and joy to glory.
"The Yorkshire Motorsport Festival will be a new challenge for me. I usually drive a Formula Ford and so driving the Anglia is a first. The fact that the roads are closed for the hill climb is a first. For fifteen years I have been competing on familiar courses, but the Wolfstones Hill Climb is going to be a new route to all of the competitors; it's all new ground and very exciting, especially in my home county."
